Trust starts with clear information about how a service operates. The Block Mondo Trust Centre brings together our published policies and disclosures so organisations and their people can understand how we handle information, govern AI and support our platform. The specific commitments that apply to your organisation are set out in your customer agreement and service schedules.
Privacy
Our Australian Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, held and disclosed, including through AI-enabled features. It also describes data location, retention and the options available to individuals for access, correction and complaints.
Read the Privacy Policy and see the Subprocessors that support the platform, their services and processing locations.
Security
We use hosting, encryption, access controls, separation of customer data and audit records to help protect information entrusted to the platform. Our disclosures explain these safeguards and how accountability, records and individual rights are supported.
Read our Security Disclosures.
AI
AI-enabled capabilities should remain accountable to people. Our approach combines defined use cases, proportionate risk assessment, human oversight, governed data and model selection, testing and monitoring. Organisations retain responsibility for their material business decisions.
Read our Responsible AI Statement for the principles and controls that guide AI across Block Mondo applications.
Standards
We follow and align to the following standard specifications:
- Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, for accessibility.
- ICF Coaching Platform Standards (v1.1), for AI coaching.
- ICF Code of Ethics (2025), for AI coaching.
Block Mondo maintains compliance and assurance activities that map its security, privacy and AI governance controls to recognised standards and frameworks. These activities support consistent governance and evidence for customer, regulatory and assurance requirements.
Alignment, mapping or assessment against a standard or framework does not imply certification. Any independent certification or attestation will be expressly identified when completed.
We review developments in law, professional standards and provider terms every quarter, and whenever a material change is announced. Documented reviews and approved changes inform our policies, customer documentation and published disclosures. Contact Block Mondo for information relevant to a supplier review or assurance request.
Follows
The platform follows these standards in how it records and reports, so that organisations can meet them in their own financial statements. Compliance with them rests with the organisation.
- Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), equivalent to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for for-profit entities, in MondoLedger:
- the Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting: records that are complete, neutral and free from error, with every journal entry balanced before it is saved and postings taken from the source records rather than re-entered;
- double-entry bookkeeping on the accrual basis, with assets and liabilities classified as current or non-current (AASB 101);
- each fiscal year closed into retained earnings, so equity carries the profits kept from every earlier year (AASB 101);
- revenue recognised as performance obligations are satisfied, with amounts billed in advance held as deferred revenue (AASB 15);
- expected credit loss allowances on receivables, and write-offs that keep the original record (AASB 9);
- foreign-currency transactions recorded in the functional currency and revalued at each month end (AASB 121);
- corrections made by reversing entries, never by editing, and closed periods that cannot be changed (AASB 108).
Disclosure notes to the financial statements are prepared by the organisation outside the platform.
